• BC Conservatives greenlit candidates with extreme views to run in ridings across the province.
• While Doerkson dropped the Beacon Hill candidate, this is not an isolated incident. The BC Conservatives have approved candidates with racist, pro-Trump, anti-LGBTQ2+ and anti-vax views and did not do anything to remove them, even prior to the nomination deadline.
• When they won’t hold their own candidates accountable during an election, it means they won’t hold them accountable if they are elected, which is deeply concerning.

Victoria-Beacon Hill Conservative candidate Joachim Agou attacked the Pakistani community as “a shithole,” said a car that drove through a group of protesters “should have reversed” through them too, and celebrated white supremacist politicians, including Geert Wilders, who has described Islam as “the ideology of a retarded culture.”
