Doerkson’s costing still missing as half a million British Columbians vote

At Wednesday’s debate, Interim Conservative Leader Lorne Doerkson said: “Trust me when I say this: British Columbians will see a fulsome plan BEFORE they go to the polls.” (Video)

On Thursday he said it would be out before advance polls: “I'm gonna say that within, um – I am trying to get that ready to go before we go to advance polls, which is of course on Saturday. So we're working on that now. We're close.” (Video)

On Friday he said: “The short answer to that is imminently. I've seen it, we've been working on it. One thing that I made clear a number of times, I think in past conversations, is that I am not going to promise anything in this platform that we can't make happen. So I am going to say that you are going to see that imminently.” (Video)

In the first two days of advance polls, 337,961 people voted. At the end of today, that number will likely exceed half a million – with no sign of Doerkson’s costing.

Doerkson’s platform has a gap of at least $5 billion, not including many of his commitments that are too vague to cost.

He knows his plan doesn’t add up. He’s trying to hide his healthcare cuts.
