Today John Horgan announced that BC will go to the polls on Saturday, October 24.

Many of you are asking: why now?

Here's John's response in his own words:

I hear you. The pandemic is going to be around for a long-time. And the last few months have taught us that we can't predict what the future will look like. What we do know is that we need to have an election in the next year, and it's safe to have an election right now. We've got big things to decide as a province. And we need to know that people are with us as we forge ahead. British Columbians: you have the opportunity to choose who you want to lead BC through this pandemic. It's up to you to decide how we move forward, together.
