This morning, British Columbians learned that TD Bank is set to receive $2.8 million in tax dollar giveaways through a secretive BC Liberal program spotlighted by a New York Times investigation earlier this week.

Under the program, unnamed corporations receive an unknown amount of taxpayer money with no discernible benefits for British Columbia. Christy Clark’s Liberals have refused to answer simple questions about the program.

British Columbians deserve some answers:

• Why won’t you tell British Columbians how much of their money has been given away through this program?
• Why won’t you tell British Columbians which companies have received these giveaways?
• How much money has gone to BC Liberal donors?
• Can you provide any evidence at all that this program creates jobs?
