Video shows Christy Clark secretly met with top donor Peter Wall shortly after he donated $400,000

While home prices soared $600,000 in just two years, Christy Clark lined her pockets with a salary paid by donations from developers like Peter Wall. And even worse, leaked video shows that in exchange, Clark is granting exclusive meetings with top donors – without even recording them in her government calendar.

On February 26, 2016, Peter Wall gave Christy Clark $400,000 in a single day.

Video shot by a bystander shows that six weeks later, Christy Clark and Peter Wall held a private, heavily guarded meeting. Clark’s calendar, obtained through Freedom of Information request, shows no meetings recorded with Peter Wall that week. Or ever, for that matter.

  • This raises several important questions for Christy Clark:
  • What did you and Mr. Wall discuss at this meeting?
  • Why was this meeting not recorded in your calendar?
  • How many other times did you meet with developer donors but not record it in your calendar?
  • Was this meeting part of your work earning your $300,000 second salary?
  • In two years, average home prices in Greater Vancouver soared $600,000 while you did nothing. How can British Columbians possibly trust you to fix housing when you’re doing everything you can to keep big developer money flowing into BC Liberal party coffers?
