Will Cole-Hamilton to run as BC NDP candidate for Courtenay-Comox

COURTENAY – The BC NDP’s candidate in Courtenay-Comox is Will Cole-Hamilton.

Cole-Hamilton has been actively involved in his community for many years. He has a background in law, he serves as Chair of the Comox Valley Regional District and is a two-term Courtenay City Councillor. Cole Hamilton is also a former small business owner, has previously served as a director with the Downtown Business Improvement Association and has coached youth sports.

“I’m proud to be running to represent the community I love and to build a stronger future for families across the Comox Valley,” said Cole-Hamilton. “At a time of global uncertainty, we need to protect good jobs, strengthen healthcare, grow our economy and stand up for British Columbia.”

Cole-Hamilton is joining the BC NDP to stand up for British Columbians against the U.S. trade war and help build a stronger, more prosperous province. A longtime community advocate, he is focused on protecting the environment, strengthening healthcare and creating good jobs in the Comox Valley.

"Will is deeply committed to his community and he is a strong voice for the people of Courtenay-Comox,” said David Eby, BC NDP Leader. “Will joins a growing team of candidates who will champion our plan to free our economy from the United States, lower costs, and recruit more healthcare workers."

The BC NDP says the Conservative parties would take a different approach, including hiking costs, rolling-back the U.S. booze ban and cutting healthcare and education.
